Facebook Porsche 911 GT3 R

Porsche has created a special edition of the 911 GT3 R Hybrid to commemorate reaching over 1 million fans on Facebook ( todays number 1,529,625 likes on their page) .

How many people can fit on a Porsche? Well .. the answer is 27000.

This hybrid develops 480hp from a  4.0-liter flat-six engine  with two 80-hp electric motors.

The new SLK – check it out!

Hot release from Mercedes-Benz … the new SLK.

There are 3 variants of the SLK, the 200, 250 and 350. The 200 and 250 versions will be equipped with a 1.8-litre four-pot petrol producing 184bhp and 204bhp. The 350 SLK has a a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine producing  306bhp.

New MICHELIN Pilot Super Sport tire reinforced with Twaron para-aramid fiber

Arnhem, the Netherlands , 17 March 2011 – Michelin has developed a new ultra high performance tire for the super sport car segment using Teijin Aramid’s Twaron as a high tech reinforcement material. Especially in extreme conditions, the tire offers an ultimate driving experience. The tire has been developed jointly with Porsche, BMW M and Ferrari.

According to tests by TÜV SÜD, the MICHELIN Pilot Super Sport tire performs extremely well in the fastest segment of the automotive market. The tire contains three new technologies that combine speed and safety. Twaron, the high-performance aramid fiber of Teijin Aramid, ensures that the tire remains in its most ideal shape, even at extreme high speeds. Twaron also ensures that the tire has high speed stability and resists to high temperatures. This makes the MICHELIN Super Pilot Sport tire suitable for highest speeds reached at the racing circuit.

Rovinieta electronica intra in vigoare

Incepand de la 1 octombrie intra in vigoare ordonanta prin care se introduce rovinieta  electronica. Actul normativ trebuia aplicat de la 1 august, dar Guvernul a decis o amanare de doua luni, deoarece noul sistem de plata si control nu era functional.

Pentru autoturisme, tarifele prevazute in ordonanta sunt 3 euro pentru o saptamana, 7 euro pentru 30 de zile, 13 euro pentru 90 de zile si 28 de euro pentru un an.

Rovinieta electronica reprezinta un sistem de plata si verificare a existentei platii taxei de drum prin intermediul unui cip inregistrat intr-un sistem electronic de urmarire.

Toate rovinietele vandute vor fi inregistrate intr-o baza de date pe Internet, iar cuponul lipit in geam dispare, tot pentru economie. Soferul va pastra cel mult chitanta, dovada ca a facut plata.

In plus, atunci cand toate rovinietele vor fi inregistrate in baza de date, politistii vor cunoaste care masina are rovinieta valabila, tastand numarul de circulatie al vehiculului.

Cei care vor fi surprinsi in trafic, de camerele video sau de echipe de controlori, fara documente care sa ateste plata acesteia vor primi acasa amenzile, care variaza intre 250 si 4.500 lei.

In plus, pe langa amenzi, vor trebui sa achite si despagubiri, in functie de tipul vehiculului, intre 28 si 1.210 euro. De exemplu, posesorii de autoturisme care nu vor avea rovinieta risca amenzi intre 250 si 500 de lei.

Rovinieta poate fi cumparata de la orice subunitate CNADNR, de la benzinariile MOL, Rompetrol, Petrom si OMV, de la oficiile Postei Romane, de la Uniunea Nationala a Transportatorilor Rutieri Romani, dar si la firmele de distributie Scalla, Speedy, Medina si Pasaj.

Compania Nationala de Autostrazi a mai anuntat ca banii proveniti din despagubiri vor fi venituri extrabugetare ale CNADNR, acestea reprezentand o suma egala cu tariful pe un an, in functie de tipul vehiculului folosit fara a detine rovinieta valabila.

Radare nedetectabile in trafic

Poliţia Rutieră îi va vîna pe vitezomani cu 449 de radare noi, imposibil de detectat în timp util cu aparatele existente pe piaţă. Fabricate în Marea Britanie, radarele au camere video performante, ce au încorporate un dispozitiv GPS care precizează cu acurateţe unde acţionează aparatul.

Radare doar pe maşini inscripţionate cu “Poliţia Rutieră”

Începînd de azi, celebrele Dacia Logan “de 70.000 de euro” cu radare, al căror preţ a fost renegociat la jumătate, în urma scandalului pe această temă, vor începe treptat să intre pe şosele, pentru a-i vîna pe vitezomani, informează PolitiaRutiera.ro. O primă noutate o constituie maşinile pe care vor fi montate aceste radare. Toate vor fi Dacia Logan break, cu motoare 1,5 dci de 85 CP, dotate însă cu geamuri electrice, ABS şi aer condiţionat. Blocurile optice de pe capotă vor fi echipate cu sirenă, girofare şi proiectoare cu difuzoare de 100 W, astfel încît şoferii din trafic să nu mai poată susţine că n-au auzit cînd au fost somaţi să tragă pe dreapta. Noile aparate de măsurare a vitezei au fost repartizate deja pe judeţe şi au fost omologate, acestea fiind instalate doar pe Loganuri inscripţionate cu “Poliţia Rutieră”.

“Simt” vitezomanul de la 1,5 km

Diferenţele majore între noile aparate radar şi cele actuale sînt: înregistrează şi salvează datele sau imaginile pe un hard disc intern, informaţiile putînd fi accesate doar cu parolă, la care agenţii de poliţie din teren nu au acces. Noutatea absolută o constituie însă dispozitivele radar. Fabricate în Marea Britanie, acestea au camere video performante, ce au încorporate un dispozitiv GPS care precizează cu acurateţe unde acţionează aparatul, astfel că şoferii nu mai pot susţine că viteza înregistrată de aparat era a maşinii de pe celălalt sens, pentru că noile camere au posibilitatea de a urmări separat fiecare sens de circulaţie. Potrivit comisarului-şef al Poliţiei Rutiere, Lucian Diniţă, noile radare se pun automat în funcţiune doar atunci cînd sesizează că un autovehicul a depăşit viteza, astfel că detectorul “simte” radarul prea tîrziu, iar şoferul nu mai are timp să frîneze şi, astfel, să încetinească pînă la viteza legală. Un alt avantaj al poliţiştilor asupra şoferilor cu detectoare de radar va fi raza de acţiune, fiind eficient chiar şi atunci cînd autoturismul vizat se află la 1,6 kilometri. Actualele detectoare de radar, în schimb, nu funcţionează pe asemenea distanţe. Noul tip de radar are şi funcţie de supraveghere a circulaţiei şi de măsurare a vitezei, susţine şeful Poliţiei Rutiere. Filmarea va fi posibilă şi noaptea, prin infraroşu.
